Sr. Copywriter

As Sr. Copywriter, you will be a key member of the Creative Team who will: Help establish & elevate the brand voice for America’s Favorite Fragrances. Conceptualize & lead brand-wide projects, fragrance launches and reactive marketing from start to finish. Ensure consistency between written & visual messages. Write copy that maintains a comprehensive understanding of our target customer & brand.


  • Contribute to the concept development, design and execution of creative marketing materials while working closely with members of the strategic, merchant, design and visual presentation teams
  • Present work as appropriate to team members across the creative teams
  • Create and edit floorset signage packages and maintain database of all signage
  • Work with cross-functional partners to determine signage needed for multiple store iterations, assuring correct quantities and allocations
  • Ensure marketing accuracy and consistency with merchant requests
  • Provide quick-turnaround copy for weekly reactive sign packs
  • Performs special writing projects as assigned
  • Must be proactive and detail-oriented with sharp focus on consistency and efficiency in speed-centered environment
  • Utilize existing creative to translate shop vision across multiple versions/formats of POS, CRM and other marketing channels
  • Partner with web team, merchants & store operations to maintain consistent brand voice


  • 5-7 years of retail or agency copywriting experience
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Strong editor with superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Technical skills:
    o Proficient in Mac
    o FileMaker experience preferred
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism or related field
