Senior Graphic Designer – treetree

As Senior Graphic Designer, you are a seasoned pro when it comes to creating unique and original designs and layouts in a variety of mediums. You bring skilled creative thinking and execution to print tactics, digital tactics and non-traditional tactics, including environments and experiences. You have attention to detail, follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. You understand the processes for typography, printing, photography and illustration. You know how to spec the right materials. You know what it’s like to work in a fast-paced agency, and you love it.

As an integral part of our creative department, you will work closely with our Group Creative Director and Creative Director to ideate and execute creative and campaign concepts, including print, packaging, digital and environmental projects (and some special projects that are on a planet all their own) for a diverse array of clients, products and services. As Senior Graphic Designer, you have high creative drive that thrives in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects for more than one client. You anticipate problems and tackle creative requests big and small. You set an example for your fellow trees. And you stay on your toes and collaborate with the team so the result is on strategy and on time.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
– Concepting great ideas in response to client needs and bringing them to life in two-dimensional and/or three-dimensional designs
– Executing layouts for print, digital, packaging and environmental spaces
– Participating in photo and video shoots
– Interfacing with/presenting to clients successfully, commanding the room when necessary—in person, on the phone, etc
– Creating mockups and presentation materials to share ideas and proof of concept, as needed
– Presenting new ideas to members of the treetree team
– Modifying layouts and options until treetree and the client are satisfied
– Creating and modifying brand identity guidelines, including logo development
– Collaborating with fellow creatives and client service partners to deliver smart, innovative solutions
– Thinking beyond the “ask” to offer thoughtful creative with purpose
– Being flexible enough to turn on a dime and receive feedback professionally
– Prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines without compromising the balance of work
– Being open to learning new things, from process to product
– Enhancing the overall creative power of the treetree team with your imagination, work ethic and sparkling personality
– Bringing innovation and best practices to our team and processes
– Establishing and adhering to high standards of work and professionalism
– Elevating our body of creative work as a result of your experience, curiosity and passion

– Four-year degree required
– 7-10 years of experience in an agency or similar environment
– Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, smart design and strategic application of your skillset
– High proficiency and efficiency using the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite
– Ability to concept creative and specify materials
– Ability to use existing vendor partnerships and forge new ones to produce the best work
– Exceptional team player and collaborator
– Ability to professionally give and receive constructive feedback to uphold standards of culture, performance and product
– Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills
– Excellent attention to detail
– Experience, comfort and willingness to work within Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Keynote
– Experience working in SketchUp, Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus
– Comfort and proficiency creating elevations and renderings is a plus
